Design, fabrication and fitting out of ship hull on model scale. The model is appropriately 3m x 0.5m x 0.4m depth and is to be made in fiberglass through the stages of Plug, Negative form and final product. The 3D body shape will be given in the form of AutoCAD drawing and template frames at different distances along the length will be used to create the 3D object with due allowance for teak wood strip thickness to obtain accurate fine finished body shape. The drawing specification are to be followed with tolerance of ± 5mm in length, ± 3mm in breath and ± 3mm in depth with the highest finish of the surface with reference to the drawing. Any inaccuracy will lead to rejection. The Plug must be manufactured in hollow frames with fine surface finish. The finish is to be achieved by sanding, application of chalk putty, repeat sanding, filler and fine finishing putty spray and final sanding. There should be absolutely no inflections or dents in the final finished surface. The fibre glass negative form is to be made from the Plug and from the negative form the final finished piece of the ship hull model is to be laminated and finished to high glossy smooth surface.
