Tender for Direct Attached Storage

Quotations are invited for the following item on or before 5th August 2014, 3 PM in 2 Bid System (Technical Bid and Financial Bid) in a sealed envelope, to the under signed:

Direct attached storage of 12 TB usable capacity, configured with RAID5 and populated with SAS drives, a minimum of 2 hot spare drives. Connectivity with existing servers to be using FC cards and cable. Quote shall include price for compatible FC card and necessary cabling for each server. Details of the server can be obtained from the indenter (nptel@iitm.ac.in). Price for two sets of storage + FC card + cabling is to be given CIF Chennai inclusive of all applicable taxes in INR. Price shall include comprehensive warranty for 5 years.
