                   Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Laboratory           Department of Mechanical Engineering           INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY MADRAS           CHENNAI - 600 036 (INDIA) Ref: ME/R&AC/AM/2014                                                                                 Date: 12.12.2014 TENDER NOTIFICATION                                                Ref: MEE/12-13/295/DSTX/AMAN    Quotations are invited for the Hermetically Sealed Pump with under mentioned specification.  “  Type: Hermetic pump    Pumping  liquid: R134a(Tetrafluoroethane)    Density of liquid: 1170 kg/m3    Viscosity of liquid : 1.7234cp to 1.7676 cp    Flowrate: 1 m3/hr to 10 m3/hr    Temperature  range : 300C to 800C    Suction Pressure: 0.8 MPa    Discharge  pressure : 3 MPa    Material of pump should be compatible with R134a ”           For the local Firms, Quotations should be for free delivery for this institution. If Quotations are for Ex-Godown, delivery charges should be indicated separately.     For the firm outside Chennai, Quotations should be for F.O.R. consigner station, freight charges by passenger train/lorry transport or by air transport  must be indicated. If Ex-Godown, packing, forwarding and freight charges must be indicated.    The rate of Sales/General Taxes and the percentage of such other taxes legally leviable and intended to be claimed should be distinctly shown along with the price quoted. Where this not done, no claim for Sales/General Taxes will be admitted at any stage and any ground whatsoever. The taxes leviable should take into consideration that we are entitled to have Concessional Sales Tax applicable to non- Government Educational Institutional  run with no profit motive for which a concession.
